NEPSE increases by 5.51 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 5.51 points on Wednesday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2524.50 points.

A total of 5.63 million shares of 228 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 3.63 billion.

Himalayan Distillery had a turnover of Rs 525.58 million and Nabil Bank had a turnover of Rs 477.181 million while Manjushree Finance had a turnover of Rs 220 million.

The share price of 91 companies has increased today.

Similarly, the share prices of 87 companies declined while those of 12 companies remained unchanged.

The share price of Madhyabhotekoshi Hydropower Company has increased and closed at the circuit level.

Similarly, the share price of Nepal Bangladesh Bank, which is discussing a merger with Nabil Bank, has risen by 9.08 percent.

Finance companies including Narayani Development Bank are leading in declining share price. The share price of Narayani Development Bank has declined by 3.39 percent.
