Nepal Bar holding meeting to chalk out future strategy against CJ Rana



KATHMANDU: Nepal Bar Association is holding a meeting to chalk out a future strategy against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana today.

The meeting scheduled for 11 am today will dwell on further protest programs against Chief Justice Rana today, said Chairman of the Association Chandeshwor Shrestha.

The protest programs will be announced from all 90 units of the Association across the country, according to Shrestha.

The agitation may take place both inside and outside the court including barring the Chief Justice from entering the court.

Similarly, all 19 Supreme Court Justices have have been boycotting the assigned benches demanding Rana’s resignation on moral ground.

There have been voices arising from all quarters that the Chief Justice should resign from his post.

On the other hand, Chief Justice is adamant to his stance and has been saying that he will not step down under any circumstances.
