Govt is running as per party whims disregarding Constitution and law: Dr.  Prakash Chandra Lohani



KATHMANDU: Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani has accused the government of following the party’s policy and not the constitution.

Addressing the district convention of RPP held at the meeting hall of the District Coordination Committee, Mahottari, he questioned the government for introducing the ordinance to facilitate the party split.

RPP Chair Lohani also accused the mainstream parties like Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and Maoist Center claiming to be progressive parties of being regressive and nurturing reactionary activities.

He also expressed concern over the inefficiency of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority and said that it has been taking action against the junior staffs and abettors rather than the mastermind behind corruption.

Stating that his party and the people of the country need a constitutional monarchy Lohani said that RPP will always struggle for the national integrity and nationalism.

He reiterated that the monarchy should be revived by changing the constitution.
