Nepal sees 1,157 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Eight more die of coronavirus taking pandemic death toll to 11,123



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 1,157 new cases of coronavirus while 1,113 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 892 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 265 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 265 cases in Kathmandu, 28 in Bhaktapur and 42 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 335 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether eight infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking to COVID-19 death toll to 11,123 till date.
