KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee (SC) meeting of CPN (Maoist Center) is taking place today.
The SC meeting will take place at the central party headquarters in Paris Danda, said leader Lilamani Pokharel.
The meeting called for 3 pm Tuesday has been rescheduled for today, citing busy schedule. The meeting will dwell on the preparation of the national convention and selection of ministers to participate in the government.
Maoist Center has decided to hold its national convention from December 26 to 28. An SC meeting of the party held on Monday had decided to renew memberships by mid-October, hold ward conclave on October 30 and village/municipality conclave on November 20.
