Nepal records 1,388 new COVID-19 cases, 24 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,388 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the 7,259 people who underwent tests through the RT-PCR method, 1,214 persons tested positive for COVID-19 while of the 3,038 Antigen tests, 174 tested positive.

According to the Ministry, 24 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 2,260 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.

Similarly, there were 478 new cases in Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours: Kathmandu 312 cases, Lalitpur 114, and Bhaktapur 52 cases.
