NEPSE decreases by 49.18 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 49.18 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 3044.86 points.

A total of 24.88 million shares of 227 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 15.65 billion.

Similarly, the shares of all groups except finance have declined. Shares of the banking group have declined by 30 points. Shares of Development Bank Group shrunk by 53 points, trade by 62 points, hotels by 31 points, and microfinance group by 115 points.

Similarly, shares of Hydropower Group declined by 89 points, Life Insurance Group by 304 points, Non-Life Insurance by 253 points, Manufacturing by 38 points, Others by 36 points, and Investment Group by two points.

Likewise, shares of Ruru Hydropower Company decreased by 10 percent today in a negative circuit.

Shares of Narayani Development Bank and Khanikhola Hydropower Company increased by10 percent despite the overall market decline.

Arun Valley Hydro’s shares worth Rs 1.31 billion have been bought and sold today.
