KATHMANDU: Chairman of newly formed CPN-Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) on House of Representatives on Sunday.

A PP meeting of Unified Socialist held in the parliament house in Baneshwor, Kathmandu elected Chairman Nepal as its PP leader.

The party has 22 MPs in the House of Representatives.

Similarly, Beduram Bhusal has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party in the National Assembly. He has also been unanimously elected in the post. The Unified Socialist has seven members in the National Assembly.
