Nembang urges UML senior leader Nepal to finalize party unity

KATHMANDU: UML parliamentary party (PP) leader Subash Nembang has urged senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal to talk to party Chairman KP Sharma Oli to settle the issue of party unity.

Nembang reached leader Nepal’s residence Thursday to hold a discussion on finalizing UML unity. He was also the coordinator of the dispute resolution task force from UML Chairman Oli’s side.

The task force had formulated a 10-point deal, which was later approved by the UML.

“I held discussion regarding unity. I urged leader Nepal to meet Chairman Oli to take party unity to a logical conclusion,” he said after the meeting.

He also urged leader Nepal to move forward on the basis of the 10-point unity deal.

In response, leader Nepal told Nembang that he would discuss the matter with other leaders and would move ahead accordingly.
