KMC re-launches vaccination drive for people above 50



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has re-launched the COVID-19 vaccination drive for the remaining people above 50 years of age.

Under the four-day campaign that started today, vaccination centers have been managed at all 32 wards, said Hari Bahadur Kunwar, chief of the urban health department, KMC.

Vaccines are administered to eligible people from 10 am to 5 pm.

The beneficiaries are required to produce their national identity cards like citizenship certificates, passports, or driving licenses.

For the service or those lacking the documents, they need to get a recommendation from the respective local level.

In the district, the number of those who have received the first and final doses of the vaccine has reached approximately 300 thousand, according to available data.
