NEPSE decreases by 15.11 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 15.11 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 3079.83 points.

A total of 26.04 million shares of 217 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 10.90 billion.

Similarly, the share prices of two of the companies traded today have increased sharply. Among the companies whose share price has increased are Reedy Hydropower Development Company and Jeevan Bikas Microfinance Institution.

According to Nepse, the share price of Ridi Hydropower Development Company has increased by 9.95 percent, while the share price of Jeevan Vikas MFI has risen by 8.22 percent. Similarly, the share price of Goodwill Finance has shrunk sharply today.

Its share price decreased 7.11 percent. Goodwill Finance topped the list in terms of turnover. More than 330 million shares of the Finance have been traded today.

Similarly, more than 290 million shares of Himalayan Distillery have been bought and sold today.
