Two including Indian nat’l held on fake citizenship charge



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two people including an Indian national on the charge of making a fake citizenship card.

The arrested are 51-year-old Dhurup Prasad Patel of Bahudarmai municipality-2, Parsa and Sita Patel alias Kabita Kumari of India.

Impersonating as the father of Sita, Dhurup helped her to get a citizenship card from District Administration Office, Parsa.

Sita had received a citizenship card with the issuance no. 34-01-70-10352, from DAO, Parsa on December 26, 2013.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking them under control.
