Govt allocates 122.77 billion to Ministry of Health

KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 122.77 billion for the Ministry of Health and Population for next year. This is about Rs 32 billion more than last year.

Unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2021/22, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel said budget for MoHP was increased to Rs. 122.77 billion keeping in mind the necessity to respond to COVID-19 crisis.

Minister Poudel announced that the government has given top priority to control COVID-19.

For the current fiscal year, the budget of the MoHP was Rs. 90.69 billion.
