Deepak Manange sworn in as Youth and Sports Minister in Gandaki Province



KATHMANDU: Minister Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manange has taken the oath of office and secrecy at the Assembly Hall of the State Policy and Planning Commission in Gandaki Province.

Chief of Gandaki Province Amik Sherchan administered the oath to Minister Manange Thursday.

Earlier in the day, Gandaki Chief Minister Prithivi Subba Gurung expanded the cabinet by inducting Manange as the Youth and Sports Minister.

CM Gurung expanded the cabinet while a no-confidence motion has been filed against him. It is to note that Manange did not attend the meeting of the state assembly on Wednesday.

Manange was elected as Gandaki Province Assembly member from Manang on the independent seat.
