Stand-up comedy gig to be organized at Kalapathar



KATHMANDU: A team of long-time content creators, a creatively aspiring family at Nepgasm and Celebrity Management Nepal are set to conduct a stand-up comedy gig at Kalapathar at the height of 5,643 m in Nepal’s Solukhumbu district on May 3, 2021.

“This would be the highest place where a gig had ever been performed,” a statement issued by the organizers said.

According to the organizers, the program is being conducted with an aim to popularize Nepal and introduce the names of the comedians in the World Records.

Performers including Lekhmani Trital, Umesh Kumar Gautam (UKG), among others will be on stage to prove their skills, according to the organizers — Nep-Gasm (Nepgasm Media and Production Pvt. Ltd), an online-based production house that aims to entertain the audience via genres of entertainment; and Celebrity Management Nepal (CMN).

The Nep-Gasm family with more than 201+ contents on Youtube has surpassed the whooping number of 460K subscribers.

Likewise, Hamro Patro and Trending Nepal have also supported theorganizing companies in their venture.
