Five COVID-19 infected die in Rupandehi and Morang districts



KATHMANDU: Five more people infected with COVID-19 have died in Rupandehi and Morang districts.

Three more people died at COVID-19 Special Hospital in Butwal, Rupandehi. The deceased are two males and one female.

A 31-year-old man of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City-11 succumbed to the virus at 2 am, informed Dr Bishnu Gautam, the spokesperson for the hospital.

Similarly, a 66-year-old man of Butwal-14 died at 2:45 am and a 72-year-old woman of Mayadevi rural municipality-6 breathed her last at 3 am.

Likewise, two more people infected with COVID-19 died in the course of treatment in Morang district.

Of them, one is male while the other is female.  A 35-year-old man of Arjundhara, Jhapa died at COVIDd-19 Treatment Center of Koshi Zonal Hospital at 6 am today, informed Anupam Rajbanshi, the spokesperson for the hospital.

Similarly, a 62-year-old woman of Itahari-4, Sunsari died at 10 pm yesterday. The sexagenarian breathed her last as soon as she was rushed to Birat Teaching Hospital, Budhiganga, Morang, for treatment, informed Sunil Dev, the in-charge of the hospital.
