VP Pun urges one and all to follow prohibitory order

KATHMANDU: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has appealed one and all for full obedience to the prohibitory order imposed by the government starting from today.

Issuing a press statement here today, VP Pun appealed to the members of the general public to remain safe and take preventive measures against Coronavirus infection.

Stating that the sole effort of the government, frontline health workers, and security personnel would not help win in the fight against Covid-19, Pun called for full cooperation from the public as well.

“It is our past where we have faced many challenges and tough times with patience and high morale and take such tough situations in stride,” read the message.

The VP has stressed the effective treatment of the Covid-19 infected ones and tests of the suspected ones during the prohibitory order.

He has also drawn the attention of the government towards arranging adequate essential health-related supplies and managing health workers in the affected areas.

Also, the VP has urged the government to expedite the vaccination drive against Covid-19.
