NC demands fair investigation into Badigad incident



BAGLUNG: Nepali Congress, Baglung, has demanded a fair investigation into the clash taking place at Badigad rural municipality of Baglung district on Sunday.

The NC Baglung said that its attention has been drawn towards the clash taken place at Baldedhuri, the border of Badigad rural municipality, and Nisikhola rural municipality of Baglung district where two persons died and some youths are still out of contact.

Issuing a press release today, NC, Baglung, urged the government to take action against those involved in incidents and treatment to the injured.

Prakash Kunwar, 37, and Deepak Damai, 29, of Nisikhola-7 died after they were thrown from the cliff after the clash. Kunwar is NC District member and Damai is an active member of the party.

The press release issued by District President, Dipendra Bahadur Thapa, mentions that serious attention of the party has been drawn as both of them were murdered in a planned manner.
