Police recover ammunition from accident site in Siraha

SIRAHA: Siraha Police has recovered a pistol and two rounds of ammunition from an accident site at Golbazar-7, Choharba, Siraha on Sunday night.

According to Siraha District Police, Mukesh Das, 26, of Karjanha Municipality-4 was seriously injured when a truck Na 3 Kha 4774 hit a motorcycle Province 2-01-002 Pa 5409 last night.

Police from the Area Police Office, Golbazar recovered the pistol from the accident site and the bullets from the pocket of the injured Mukesh.

Mukesh is critically injured and has been taken to Birat Nurshing Home Biratnagar for further treatment, the police said.

The police are still searching Mukesh’s rider Amrit Yadav, 19, and the truck driver.
