KATHMANDU: Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company is issuing 15,000,000 units of initial public offerings (IPO).
The company had filed an application seeking permission for the issuance of the primary shares on January 23 and its approval is at the final phase, said the company.
Global IME Capital is the issue manager.
It has already put aside 14,400,000 units of shares for depositors of Employees Provident Fund, staff members of the loan providing companies among others.
Bhotekoshi hydropower project with 102 megawatt electricity is currently under-construction in Sindhupalchowk.
With an estimated cost of Rs 15 billion, the project had been started in 2013 and expected to complete by 2016.
However, the deadline was hit due to various reasons including earthquake and landslides.
(15% for general people, 10 % locals, 19.5% Employees Provident Fund, and 3.5 % staff members of the project)
