Kathmandu Valley sees 82 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 82 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 63 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, five in Bhaktapur, and 14 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 157 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 270,745 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,022 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 333 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 265,698 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, five more people succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,025.
