Shot fired in course of NC ward convention in Sarlahi



KATHMANDU: A shot was fired when a dispute erupted during the Nepali Congress’ ward convention in Sarlahi Sunday.

According to Sarlahi Police Chief SP Krishna Prasai, personal security officer (PSO) of Minister for Women, Children, Youth and Sports Birendra Singh of Province 2 fired in the air to bring the situation under control during the dispute.

NC’s ward convention was being held in ward 9 of Balara Municipality in Sarlahi.
