Two children die in fire



CHITWAN: Two children were killed when a fire caught in a house in Rapti Municipality of East Chitwan.

The fire broke out at the house of Jit Bahadur Rumba in Rapti Municipality-1, Mainatar.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Chitwan, DSP Narahari Adhikari said that two children died in the fire.

The deceased have been identified as Suraj Rumba, 3, grandson of Rumba’s son and Manisha Tamang, 3, granddaughter of Rumba’s daughter. They died on the spot.

The fire broke out in a house made of wood and tin.

The house was on fire when the parents went out.
