Rajendra Pandey sworn in as Bagmati Pradesh CM

Appoints three ministers in his cabinet



HETAUDA: Unified Socialist leader Rajendra Pandey has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh on Thursday.

Pandey was sworn in as the Chief Minister at a function held at the Bagmati Provincial Assembly office in Hetauda.

Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma earlier appointed Pandey as the Chief Minister.

Pandey was appointed as the Chief Minister after the then CM Asta Laxmi Shakya resigned on Wednesday.

Newly-appointed Chief Minister Pandey has also formed a small cabinet on Thursday.

He has appointed Kumari Moktan from the Maoist Center, Krishna Lal Bhadel from the Nepali Congress and Krishna Khanal from the Unified Socialist as ministers in his cabinet.
