India reports new 16,342 COVID-19 cases and 734 deaths

NEW DELHI: India’s COVID-19 cases have reached 34,231,207 with 16,342 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, India recorded 734 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 456,418, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Currently, 168,070 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the country while 33,606,719 have recovered from the pandemic.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 4,987,252 and infected 245,748,985 globally until the filing of this news.
