NEPSE decreases by 70.01 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 70.01 points on Tuesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2615.40 points.

A total of 13.03 million shares of 218 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.74 billion.

The share price of finance, hydropower, development banks, and insurance groups declined by higher numbers as shares of all groups traded today declined.

Out of the 218 companies traded today, all except 15 companies decreased today.

Shares of Himalaya Power Partner, Nepal Hydro Developers, and Gurans Finance decreased by 10 percent.

Shares of Manakamana Smart Microfinance and Malung Khola Hydropower Company increased by 10 percent despite the overall market decline.

The highest number of shares of Kumari Bank worth Rs 188.2 million has been bought and sold.
