Mother and son killed after being hit by truck

BUTWAL: Two people have died after being struck by a truck at Sainamaina along the East-West Highway in Rupandehi district.

The deceased have been identified as Radha Bhattarai, 42 and her son Mahesh Bhattarai, 22, of Sainamaina-5. They are mother and son.

A truck, Na 8 Kha 4411, coming from the west hit them while they were waiting for a bus at Buddhanagar bus stop in Sainamaina.

Critically injured Radha and Mahesh died in the course of treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, said Lumbini Pradesh Traffic Police, Butwal.
