Nepal-Malaysia to work together for tourism promotion



KATHMANDU: Nepal and Malaysia have expressed their readiness to work together for the promotion of tourism in both countries.

Nepal Tourism Board and Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu held a meeting for the purpose.

To this effect, Chief Executive Officer of NTB Dr Dhananjay Regmi and first secretary of the Malaysian Embassy held talks at the Embassy on Friday.

They reached a conclusion to work together adopting stipulated health safety protocol to promote tourism in both countries.

As shared both the representatives agreed to continue exchange visits of diplomats, celebrities, and media persons from both countries as a measure of promoting tourism opportunities.

The tourism sectors of both countries are facing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its multifarious effects.
