Police nab three with illegal wood



DANG: The Area Police Office, Gadhwa, has arrested three persons with 53.89 cubic feet of illegal sal wood.

The Area Police Office, Gadhwa, arrested three persons in a pickup jeep (Lu 2 Cha 7741) heading towards Lamahi from Gadhwa-6 on Friday morning.

The arrested are Sahid Musalman, 24, Gadhwa -4, Khadakpur, Pradip Kumar Chaudhary, 26, of Rapti-5, Kalapani and Binod Chaudhary, 37, of Pipra in the same municipality have been taken under control.

According to DSP Mukunda Prasad Rijal of the District Police Office, Dang, the arrested persons have been handed over to the Division Forest Office, Deukhuri.

The Forest Division Office has started investigation into the incident, DSP Rijal said.
