NEB to publicize SEE results by August 9

KATHMANDU: The National Examinations Board (NEB) Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has said it will make public the results of this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) within August 9.

NEB Office of the Controller of Examinations (Grade 10)’s Exam Controller Rudra Adhikari said that preparations were underway to publish the result based on internal evaluation of the students by respective schools within the stipulated time.

The NEB has already received the grades of the students whose evaluation was done internally by the school on the basis of their academic performances in their classroom and exams.

Due to the growing risk of COVID-19 and prohibitory orders imposed by the government to contain the pandemic, the government had decided to publish the result of the SEE on the basis of internal evaluation.

The Office was currently tallying the grades (evaluation) and would publish the result within one week if there were no technical glitches.

According to the Office, over 517,000 students had completed the requisition forms for SEE for the 2077 BS.

The results of the students who attended the SEE in 2076 BS were also made public last year on the basis of internal evaluation owing to the risk of COVID-19.
