JSP Executive Committee meeting underway in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP) is underway in Kathmandu.

A meeting held at Tulsilal Amatya Building in Lalitpur on Wednesday afternoon is likely to end today by making some important decisions, a leader said.

The meeting will conclude by including the 34 lawmakers identified in the Election Commission and give the executive committee a full shape.

Meanwhile, the meeting has also added the name of Resham Chaudhary as the party’s executive member.

The meeting is also discussing the party’s internal affairs, including participation in the government, steps to be taken against the Mahanta Thakur-Rajendra Mahato faction, the list of possible ministers, selection of parliamentary party leaders, and other office bearers, among others.
