LAHAN: A mother with her two siblings died after being drowned in a private pond at Brahmapuri rural municipality-3, Bhelhi in Sarlahi.
Rikewa Devi Kapad, 26, her 18-month daughter Rama and a newborn son were found dead in the pond owned by Suryabamsha Chaudhary, shared Brahmapuri-3 ward chair, Shyam Saha.
The body of Rikewadevi who left home at around 12.00 midnight was found floating in the pond this morning.
She had left the home with her siblings. Police said that her husband who went to search for his wife and children has not yet returned home.
The bodies were recovered from the pond and are being sent to the district hospital for post-mortem, police said. RSS
