India reports 42,928 new COVID-19 cases, 640 deaths



NEW DELHI: Southern neighbor India’s COVID-19 cases has reached 31,483,411 with 42,928 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, India recorded 640 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 422,054,  according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Currently, 405,967 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 30,655,390 have returned home after treatment.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 4,192,112 and infected 195,925,354 globally until the filing of this news.
