NC Prez Deuba condemns attack on health workers in Nepalgunj, demands action



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the incident of attack on doctors and nurses of Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj, is highly condemnable.

President Deuba, through social networking site Friday, demanded immediate investigation into the incident of attack on health workers, who are involved in treatment of patients round the clock during COVID-19 pandemic putting own lives at risk, and stern action against the guilty.

Similarly, issuing a press release, Bibeksheel Sajha Party condemned the incident of attack on health workers at their working area.

General-Secretary of Bibeksheel Sajha Youth Organization, Saroj Gautam, has urged the government to take action against those involved in the attack.
