Health workers mobilised in Langtang



RASUWA: Health workers have been deputed at the Langtang area after locals started falling ill one after another.

Langtang, the tourism destination, lies around 3,500 meters above sea level. Chairperson of Gosainkunda rural municipality, Kaisangnurpu Tamang, said that the health workers have been deputed with necessary medicines after getting information that the locals started suffering from common cold and cough, fever, headache and body pain.

The health workers would reach Langtang till this morning and start treatment after identifying whether it is COVID-19 or seasonal flu.

The health workers have been deputed with medical equipment including antigen kit, added Tamang.

A local Chhimi Renjen Tamang said that most of the locals have started suffering from such problems from the past 15-20 days.

Langtang area has a population of around 500.
