NTA goes online system to minimize COVID-19 risk

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has started providing its all services online from today after over eight employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

The NTA issuing a notice today informed that it has completely switched to the online system beginning from today until further notice.

NTA Spokesperson Santosh Poudel said all the NTA services would be available online through service-providing companies. ‘

’We will facilitate all our licensed companies for the same, he added’ Service seeker should send e-mail to the NTA first informing about the nature of required service to receive services.

Besides, the NTA has come with the ‘work from home’ provision temporarily beginning from today bearing in mind the increased risk of infection among its employees.

As it said, employees work from home from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm via the office automation system. However, e-attendance is mandatory. If the office feels necessary, they can be asked to perform duty being physically present at the office. RSS
