COVID-19 death toll reaches 100 in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: The fatal grip of coronavirus pandemic has claimed 100 lives in Banke district till date.

According to Tej Bahadur Oli, the focal person at District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee, Banke, the coronavirus pandemic related death in the district has reached 100 after a 56-year-old male died of it at Medical College, Kohalpur at 2 pm on Wednesday.

Banke district had recorded its first coronavirus case on May 1, 2020.

If the death of the people who came for treatment here from other districts is also included there have been 108 coronavirus related deaths in Banke.
