Government withdraws 15 criminal cases as demanded by JSP



KATHMANDU: The Government of Nepal has withdrawn a total of 15 criminal cases against 120 individuals as per the demand of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

Making the cabinet decisions public on Wednesday, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Parbat Gurung stated that the government has withdrawn 15 criminal cases that were initiated during the Madhesh movement.

The JSP had been pressuring the government to withdraw the cases. Minister Gurung also said that the cases have been withdrawn as per the directives for withdrawal of cases, laws, and Constitution.
