Journalists to be allowed to travel with organization’s identity card



KATHMANDU: Media persons and employees will be allowed to travel in the Kathmandu Valley carrying identity cards issued by the media organizations.

A meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur has, however, urged journalists to adopt all health protocols while doing their work in crowded places.

CDO of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli said informed that arrangements have been made for journalists and employees working in the media to travel on the basis of the identity card of the concerned media house.

Earlier, journalists were allowed to travel only with the press pass issued by the Information Department.
