SC meeting of UML’s Nepal-Khanal faction underway at Kalanki



KATHMANDU: Meeting of the leaders of the CPN-UML’s disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction is underway at a party palace in Kalanki, Kathmandu.

According to sources, amidst the restrictions on movement and gathering owing to the prohibitory orders enforced to curb the coronavirus pandemic, UML leaders holding discussions on the recent political developments.

The Standing Committee members currently in the Kathmandu Valley are meeting as prohibitory order takes effect in the Valley from Thursday.

The faction has been holding parallel party activities across the country while Prime Minister and party Chairman KP Oli has sought sexplanation from the dissident faction leaders.
