Sajha Yatayat to provide service to and from the airport during prohibitory orders period



KATHMANDU: Sajha Yatayat has decided to offer its service to and from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, during the Prohibitory Orders period starting from Thursday, despite the restrictions imposed against all vehicles except the most essential ones.

To help the people likely to be stranded by the enforcement of the prohibitory orders imposed to curb the second wave of coronavirus pandemic, Sajha Yatayat, the publicly run bus service operator company has decided to continue its service to and from the TIA.

A meeting of the officials of Sajha Yatayat Limited, airline operators and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal held in Kathmandu on Tuesday decided to continue the Sajha’s service to the air-passengers .

Earlier, the district administration offices of the three districts of Kathmandu valley decided to enforce weeklong prohibitory orders in the capital effective from Thursday, April 29.

As per the orders all public and private transportations, but for the air services, will come to a halt from Thursday morning.

 

The people have to show their air tickets or travel documents to entertain the service.
