Woman dies after clay mound crumbles on her in Bajhang



BAJHANG: A woman has died after a clay mound caved in on her Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Manju Bam, 25, of Jayaprithvi Municipality, Bajhang.

Bam and three other women went to Aampata of the municipality to bring mud for household purpose early Sunday. They were digging mud when a clay mound fell upon Bam and buried her at around 7 am. Bam died on the spot.

The other women reported to the police after the incident.

Police and locals recovered Bam’s body from the incident site.
