PM Oli says he would come back with two-thirds majority even if ousted



JHAPA: Prime Minister KP Oli has challenged the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) to oust him by bringing a no-confidence motion in the House of Representatives.

Speaking at a program in Jhapa Sunday, Prime Minister Oli alleged that despite the Prachanda-Nepal faction’s effort led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and Madhav Kumar Nepal to remove him, they failed to garner support from the Nepali Congress and Janata Samajbadi Forum.

“Prove your guts by removing me by bringing a motion of no-confidence,” PM Oli challenged, saying, “Even if you do it, I will come back with a two-thirds majority from the people,” he said.
