Nepse decreases by 79.74 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased sharply on the first trading day of the week.

The index, which had been decreasing since the start of trading, has decreased by 79.74 points and holds at 2474.39 points.

A total of Rs 8.35 billion has been transacted through the purchase and sale of 15.7 million shares in Nepse today.

Despite the decline in Nepse, the transaction amount has increased compared to Thursday.  A total of Rs 6 billion has been transacted on Thursday.

Out of the companies traded today, 171 companies share value has decreased while four companies share value increased.

Today, all groups except hotels and tourism have marked red.
