NCP unification within a month: NCP leader Pandit

KATHMANDU: Leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Lal Babu Pandit has claimed that the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) will unify within a month.

Pandit, who has been campaigning for party unity, said the NCP hasn’t split legally. “I am hopeful that the the two factions will come together within a month,” he said.

Stating that he was consistently striving for party unity, Pandit stated that since the NCP has a clear majority in the House of Representatives, there is no question of forming a Nepali Congress-led government.

He also claimed that the government will be led by the NCP.

According to him, he is constantly in touch with the top leaders of the NCP to ensure party unity.
