Govt more powerful following HoR reinstatement: Nembang

KATHMANDU:  Leader of the Nepal Communist Party Oli faction Subas Nembang has claimed that the government has become more powerful following the reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Addressing an orientation program organized by Sindhupalchowk-Kathmandu liaison forum close to Oli faction in the capital on Saturday, Nembang said the government which was only a caretaker following the house dissolution has become more powerful after the Supreme Court reinstated it.

Laying an irony on the opponents, Nembang commented that those who described the Oli-led government’s status as the caretaker following the house dissolution are now facing difficulty since it has become more powerful.

Nembang further said that the Prime Minister Oli is ready to face the no confidence motion to be lodged by  Prachanda-Nepal faction in the parliament meeting.
