Nepal records 213 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 130 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 213 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 281 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 27 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 94 persons in Kathmandu, 20 in Lalitpur, and 7 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 121 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, three people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the coronavirus death toll in the country 11,521 till date.

Meanwhile, 325 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
