KATHMANDU: The low-pressure system located around Bangladesh is having partial impact on the eastern part of Nepal.
The weather is generally cloudy in Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh on Saturday morning. Terai is covered in thick fog, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Meanwhile, the temperature has gone down across the country including the Kathmandu Valley. The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has dipped to 8.8 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.
The weather will remain cloudy in the hilly region of Pradesh 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini in the afternoon today with chances of light rain in one or two places of this region.
Similarly, light snowfall is expected in high hilly and mountainous areas of Pradesh 1, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki and Sudurpashchim Pradesh.
Light rain is likely to occur in one or two places of Pradesh 1 and Bagmati Pradesh tonight.
