Problems related to education sector will be resolved: Minister Poudel



BHAKTAPUR: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel said that all the issues related to education sector should be resolved.

At a meeting of the association of the parents of students in institutional schools here today, Minister Poudel opined that it would be appropriate to discuss the grievances and comments lodged by the parents and coming through the association at once.

He said that we should all work for the development of education.

Similarly, Subash Bhandari on the behalf of Association said that the association had been working in addressing the issues of the parents whose children were studying in the private schools.

The association was also coordinating and collaborating from school to university to facilitate the parents in navigating through their issues.

He urged with the Minister to roping in the association while formulating education policy, determining school fees, monitoring of the schools and curriculum for the schools among others.

Likewise, vice-chair of the association Kosh Bahadur GC informed the Minister that there were issues emanating from lack of parents’ participation in school monitoring and other works such as classification of the schools, fixation of the fees, among others.
