SC should resolve problems seen in judiciary: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the Supreme Court should resolve the problems seen in the judiciary of late.

Prime Minister Deuba said he has nothing much to comment about the ongoing dispute in the court.

He also expressed his resentment at CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli for demanding the resignation of all the SC judges.

Speaking at a program organized by the Nepal Tarun Dal at PM’s official residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday, Prime Minister Deuba clarified that the issues related to the court would be discussed with the ruling coalition.

He said, “I don’t think it’s fair to demand the resignation of those who were involved in giving the court orders mandamus.”

“I cannot say outright anything about it. We (ruling coalition) will discuss and come to a decision,” he added.
